Steve came and spent the day with me my partner and 2 dogs. One of my dogs is a young rescue dog from Spain, and we... have several behavioural issues with him including noise reactivity, barking excessively at people entering the house, constantly grabbing my other dog and pulling on the lead.
After a day spent with Steve he’s given us a wealth of tips, advice and training techniques which we have started to implement and are already seeing an improvement. We know we’ve got a lot of work to do but thanks to Steve we feel much more confident in getting there! Highly recommended 👏🏼read more

Steve came out to us earlier this week to help us with our very over excited cockapoo. We had been experiencing issues... with her jumping up, barking, pulling excessively on the lead and high prey drive. From the moment Steve walked into our home the lessons began, we felt instantly at ease and our jaws were on the floor with how quickly our pup was responding to the training. The improvements have been remarkable already, especially the lead walking! Although we still have a way to go, we feel extremely confident with the knowledge that Steve has given to us.It's also great to know that we'll have Steve's online support going forward if we have any issues or questions.Highly recommend!! We have a rescue 2yr old 42kg rescue St bernard puppy who has quite a list of issues. A colleague of mine suggested we... needed the help of a behaviourist and gave me Steve's details. We had him over for the day yesterday. He is one of those people you instantly like on meeting and then spent 7hrs working with us and our boy. The training he gives is informative, logical and fun for the dog. With a few commands he had our boy doing exactly what he wanted time and time again..... After using various trainers for our boy Diesel and finding them not very helpful at all. We found Steve. The first... person to come in and talk through it all with us and listen. He has shown us that with our leadership we can help Diesel to become a more friendly and secure dog. It seems his human and dog aggression is based on fear. Steve showed us that when Diesel lunges at visitors to our home that he hasn’t met before there is a consequence for that unwanted behaviour which involves an immediate 3 minute time out in another room. It has never occurred to us to do that before and we’d simply stopped having people around. We now muzzle Diesel and keep him on a loose lead inside when people are here and instruct everyone to just ignore him. We’ve actually had visitors for the first time in ages. Only twice have we had to use the timeout room. It’s a work in progress of course and will take time but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Also rather than just leaving us to it Steve has sent a detailed report which is fabulous for me to refer to. Diesel has a few other issues too which are all covered in the report. Also, we know Steve is there for us to reach out to whenever we come up against anything we are not sure how to deal with. Thank you Steve. Thoroughly recommended, a friendly approach and very knowledgeable. Paul and Julieread more

Had Steve around today (18,4,23) to help us with our GSD Loki who is very reactive, we also have two other dogs. During... the day he gave an unbelievable amount of information, teaching us how, when to praise the dogs, when to ignore them.
My wife walked Loki for the first time in 18 months during the day with Steve's method.
Absolutely amazed by results already, dogs barking/jumping when someone comes or passes the house in has almost, walks are becoming enjoyable.
Steve is in no rush and spent over 7 hours with us.

Update:- Had to add this after a successful weekend. One of the issues was our younger dog not being able to remain... calm around new baby granddaughter when they visit us. Steve visited us Thursday just gone. Family arrived Friday. By Saturday this was the situation in the photo at bottom of this post. Massive thanks again to Steve for his adviceSteve visited us and our two dogs Billy & Pixie to help sort out a couple of issues that have arisen. Steve is so very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviour and took the time to explain what we needed to do to improve the situation. He was very patient with us and answered our questions clearly and in simple terms so that we understood and now have the tools to put into practice what he has suggested to us.Steve is very professional, approachable and doesn’t make you feel that any questions you ask him are silly questions. He gives you the guidance needed to take charge and knowing that he is at the end of the phone for advice is a great confidence builderCan’t recommend Steve enough, just wish we had contacted him sooner.read more
Steve is the guy I wish I’d found 6 months ago when we first got our Collie cross rescue ‘Lucy’, we’ve been struggling... with her from day one as she is extremely excited whilst out. She barks, lunges & pulls heavily on a lead and has given us countless stressful days of not knowing what to do.. Today we met at Colchester and spent an hour or so with Steve, who is a wealth of knowledge, to help us understand Lucy’s needs and mostly to train ourselves in what we should be doing to help her. I saw some really positives in just a short time and now Steve has given us the direction we need I’m excited to begin Lucy’s new training regime.. We were having issues with our dog pulling a lot on the lead and being over excited. So we contacted Steve Hutley after... looking at his experience he was our go to person and he didn’t disappoint us. Steve spent the entire day with us teaching us all the core concepts in dog training, he also suggested the right lead for our dog which has helped immensely and given us tips on how to use the right techniques when our boxer is highly excited. This has helped us a lot with our dog and even thou he still pulls at times and gets excited like a boxer pup that he is at his age, we are able to handle this with more confidence. We are glad we have Steve on this journey with us as we can now call him for any other assistance we need with our boxer dog for. It’s gives us peace of mind knowing that he is just a phone call away and we highly recommend his rehabilitation and training services.read more

Steve spent the day with myself and Vinny, my 15 month old English Springer Spaniel. Vinny is an anxious young dog and... very nervous around strangers. He had developed behavioural issues at home and when meeting other dogs and people on a walk, where he is also a lead-puller. He is not generally a barker but had started lunging and barking at dogs, people and cars.Vinny had got away with far too much generally and bad habits had developed. However, my own reactions to Vinny had actually reinforced some of his behaviours (which was very obvious to me after Steve explained the reasoning).I need to learn how to be the pack leader and take control of the situation at hand! All aspects of dog training were covered and Steve explained everything thoroughly. Vinny needs to learn that for every behaviour, good or bad, there is a consequence, and he will quickly learn that the correct behaviour gets a ‘reward’ and the incorrect behaviour gets him absolutely nothing.Vinny had a setback due to health reasons but with training that is consistent, I know it is definitely possible to turn Vinny into the kind of dog that is a pleasure to walk. A few unwanted behaviours at home have already disappeared.Steve also provided an invaluable Behavioural Diagnostics Report which covered everything we spoke about on the day and more.An added bonus is ongoing help for rest of Vinny’s life, via phone calls and emails etc.I highly recommend Steve for any issues you have with your dog.read more
Wonderful training- we didn’t have serious problems, but in one session Steve helped us deal with some persistent... annoying little issues like lead pulling. It was immensely effective- after just one session we had a lovely walk with almost no pulling and the dog seems far happier understanding what’s expected. It was all done with great kindness (towards humans and canines alike!) and a total focus on the dog’s perspective. It was really training us and not the dog, which is exactly how it should be! Would really recommend Steve, and go back to him if we ever had issues!read more
Steve came to see us to help with our 3.5 year old GWP who had become increasingly territorial of the house since... getting a puppy (now 7 months old) and lockdown, when the only knocks we had on the front door were from delivery drivers (who never came in, but went away with the barking).Throughout the day, Steve gave clear, helpful advice and strategies to support how to change this behaviour. We have already seen it working and our older dog is beginning to understand that visitors are just that - and not intruders.Steve clearly is very knowledgeable and has helped us to understand our dogs better. We also did some lead walking and recall practice, which taught us new ways of keeping the dogs at heel and coming back when off the lead.I would definitely recommend Steve to anyone who needs some help understanding their dog. He arrived at 10am and left just after 5.30pm, so it was a really great day and well worth the money. Thank you!read more
We were at breaking point with Koby, our Romanian rescue dog. He is extremely anxious and very guarded of our home. He... has a particular dislike for men (which Steve got to experience 🤦🏻♀️) but Steve was completely calm with him and helped us see that with Koby, it’s all fear based aggression due to what he’s been through in his past and he helped build our confidence with having people over and showed us ways to help him see that guests are not a threat! Who knew hot dog sausages and primular cheese were the way forward?! We still have to build kobys confidence but we are so glad Steve came to help and showed us what a good dog he can be with just a few tweaks in the way we train! Thanks so much Steve. Thankfully Steve rescued us! We were feeling desperate after nearly 4 years of trying nearly every local behaviourist... with our very anxious fearful dog Otto who hates visitors (intruders!!!) coming to the house. We often fretfully talked about rehoming but knew that wasn’t the right thing to do and who on earth would re-adopt a dog like him?!! Steve spent the day with us showing us what to do, totally unfazed by his fear and anxiety. He made us believe we could help Otto become more confident through demonstrating assertive calm commands. Although he will never be like a friendly relaxed Labrador greeting people at the door (haha) we now have a dog who will tolerate and even settle when we have a visitor or two which is MASSIVE progress. This will be an on-going training process we know but we feel very hopeful that we could host our friends in our home and even have an enjoyable time without worrying about Otto’s reactions to them. Thank you Steve. We are enjoying the 5th member of our pack much more now we know how to handle him calmly and assertively! Everyone is a LOT happier!!read more
At the beginning of the year our Alaskan Malamute Puppy (Bruce, aged 10 months at the time) experienced an intense... panic/anxiety attack in a car park due to a loud car exhaust back firing. Following this experience we struggled to get him out of the house on walks and for roughly 6-7 months he was barely walking each day. My partner and I tried everything we could to get him out of our estate and onto the road, however he would refuse to move. Due to the change in his walking, Bruce started to become aggressive, very on edge and we were close to breaking point.
After searching google and reading lots of reviews we came across Steve Hutley and got in contact with him straight away. Steve was quick to reply to us, he gave us initial advice over the phone and booked us into his next available slot.
On the day of the training, Steve was brilliant. He was very informative and knowledgeable in his field and as doggy parents we felt contained and well supported. Steve stayed with us all day and instantly put all our worries/anxieties at ease - Bruce was also an instant fan of 'hot dog man'!!
The most amazing thing, was that with Steve's support and guidance we got Bruce OUT OF THE ESTATE and on his old favourite walk (across a busy main road) - a walk we have not done all year! We were in complete shock and overwhelmed with happiness.
Since the training day with Steve we have managed to get Bruce off the estate and on a walk, EVERY SINGLE DAY, and each day we see Bruce getting more and more confident.
Following the day's training we received a well written and detailed report and we have an open channel of communication with Steve, if we need to talk to him.
We cannot thank Steve enough - he honestly and wholeheartedly changed our lives and we are enjoying our family walks once again! If you are looking for a trainer - I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you so, so much Steve.

Well Where do we begin? Apart from Excellent and best thing we ever did!!After being sceptical about anyone being... able to fix our aggressive German Shepherd (Enzo) Steve has proved us wrong and given us a new perspective.Steve was hands on right from meeting Enzo and we were surprised how quickly his behaviour could change with his commands and instructions! Steve took the time to explain everything including reasons why and supported us in carrying out the training. It was an eye opener after talking with Steve how we had missed crucial things in trying to teach Enzo right and wrong and how our behaviour impacts his.We have now gained very useful tips and tricks around being better “fur parents” particularly how to handle a fearful (not aggressive) dog, feeding and resource guarding. We have started to implement the advice given and have seen results; less barking which is brilliant we have all had a more chilled day! Obviously a long road to follow but feel more confident and assured that with more tools and new training we can reach the end a lot easier even if it takes some more time!Words are not enough to express our thanks as to how valued Steve’s time, advice and hands on style was for us!Please trust our review a long with others that Steve is the man who can help support you with a dog who you feel may have behaviour issues. We would highly recommend you use him you will not be disappointed.Ps Enzo says Steve is the best supplier of hot dogs 🌭read more

Training a rescue dog isn't easy.... especially one was who badly treated before being abandoned to be a street dog to... fend for himself in Spain. It's like having a 7-year-old puppy who "no speeka dee Engleeeesh!"

He also had plenty of simple tips, which we have followed and just a couple of days later we now have a much more relaxed dog, who walks to heel, jumps in the car and is chilled when we sit down. The picture is from this morning while we were reading the papers, this would not have happened last weekend. An update to our review, we have been working with Steve as Quinn is really reactive around other dogs, with patience Steve has helped us understand what Quinn needs from us when we’re out with him. A big thank you Steve! Finally we have our boy jumping in/out the car.Jack took an instant dislike to our new car.... It was the same make and model of our old one which he happily got into but a different colour. He wouldn’t come near it. After trying for 5 months when we couldn’t take him anywhere. He (and us) were missing out. We tried a local dog trainer. She seemed to make the whole experience worse. He became a shivering wreck around the car. I then found Steve on a web search and made contact. We arranged for Steve to come to us in Kent.Steve made both myself and my husband comfortable with what he was going to do. We spent a couple of hours talking and getting jack used to Steve being there. We took jack for a walk (thanks for the tips on having jack walk more calmly), moved the car off the drive to a quiet side road. Then gradually Steve got him used to walking past the car with the boot open. Eventually Jack jumped in. We were excited and jack did this several times.Since Steve’s visit Jack is now really comfortable in the car. We’re all happy that we can go out and about. Words cannot thank Steve enough!!
We hit crisis point with our 4 year old Jack Russell Geoffrey. He had been a great... dog but suddenly began biting me and our 2 year old twin girls randomly to the point every moment I spent in the house with all three was stressful, I was was in a constant state of panic he would hurt our Daughters and a bit scared of him, he became unsettled and barked constantly at times other than when my fiancé was home and I thought we were going to have to re-home him.
I have to say I had given up and was skeptical Steve could help but my fiancé wanted to give it a chance before we made the dreaded decision.
Steve gave up his only day off in many to squeeze us in (not squeezed as he spent the most part of the day with us) this when he knew toddlers were being bitten although he was fully booked for months ahead.
Within a couple of minutes of arrival at our house I could see a difference in Geoffrey.
Steve made us realise by my becoming apprehensive around Geoffrey I’d lost my place in the pack and put myself and the girls below him, this making him anxious when my other half was out as he felt responsible to work harder protecting us and the house.
Not only did Steve teach me how to regain my pack place, he taught us to understand Geoffrey and invaluable skills to deal with his behaviours in the right way effectively, he also helped us correct behaviours we had just learnt to live with thinking we could never change.
Geoffrey no longer bites, or barks constantly at anything he can see move outside like a squirrel, bird etc, doesn’t jump up on anyone coming into the house, alerts us someone has approached the house but that’s his job done and he stops when told and only jumps on our sofas when invited! Only because Steve taught us how to understand and use techniques AMAZING I was blown away!!
We now have a very happy calm dog who we all enjoy being around again!

Within just one day Steve was able to show us a few simple but effective tricks to make her and us feel more confident.Steve also explained everything in such a fun and understandable way without any judgement and after a week of using the techniques we have seen so much improvement! She now wags her tail when it's going out time and is in general a lot more confident. Thank you so much Steve! We can't wait to watch our girl grow and learn how to dog with your help. We will be in touch for more sessions as well.If you're in any doubt how to approach things with your dog do not hesitate to get professional help and if you already decided to do that, there's no need to look any further! Thanks again Steve!
All the Best!

Steve has been amazing. I can't recommend him highly enough. He is always on the other end of the phone if you need... him - going beyond the "call of duty". Steve has been training (me) and Ranger (German Shepherd) since we got him at 12 weeks old - he is now almost 14 months. We have had issues with him becoming aggressive towards other people, however Steve has guided us, supported us and reassured us. There is no doubt that he needs his own TV show. Thanks for everything Steve!read more
1st meeting part 1.We highly recommend Steve, I have a 15 month old bubbly Staffy who pulls on the lead and is... reactive to some dogs, Steve came to our home and we worked with Lily outside and walking via social distancing😊. gave us the tools on how to deal with this which we have been doing and are definitely working. before we found Steve we tried another trainer which was fruitless, Steve is a god send and helped us immensely. look no further this guy is brilliant.2nd meeting Part 2.We met up with Steve for the 2nd time today at a dog park and again another amazing time spent with Steve and his extensive knowledge with dogs, their behaviour and everything about dogs issues in general, I genuinely cannot praise this man enough and has given me huge amount of confidence when out with Lily in dog parks, there is nothing he doesn't know about dogs and how to help. I am so chuffed with today day and absolutely blown away, we highly highly recommend Steve, he is truly brilliant.read more
Steve helped me with excellent tips on how to prepare to receive my TT puppy. We had a phone conversation during... lockdown and then a very thorough and detailed email with all the things I would need to buy, how to collect puppy from breeder, what to do when getting home, crate and toilet training. it made me feel much more empowered and calm about the arrival of my lovely puppy.
I would most certainly recommend him and would use his services again for extra training when puppy grows a bit more.read more
I have a beautiful Staffy who is playful fun and ever so affectionate but a total nightmare on the lead, pulling and... biting the lead whenever we go out, I was almost getting to the point of dreading taking him out and some days not wanting to go at all.
I asked Steve for his help and have been blown away ! Steve showed me how to walk Marley to heel and suggested the best lead for him, what to do when he pulls and even how to hold a lead properly so I had complete control.
Steve cuts through all the confusing advice that is out there and practically shows you in a way that is simple yet effective. We even covered dog on dog behaviour as Marley is sometimes reactive if other dog’s approach. In less than an hour and a half I had a dog walking to heel and walking alongside another dog !! Totally Amazing !
I am now looking forward to taking my dog out rather than dreading it every day. Thank you so much Steve, this will give me so much more freedom in places i want to walk knowing I have a dog that will walk without pulling.

Lots of other positive changes too following other useful tips from the day. Thank you Steve !read more

We still have a way to go but Steve has educated and provided us with a plan, to enable us to develop a simple but highly effective routine in managing and changing unwanted behaviours. Dog walks are now more enjoyable and I am now more relaxed whilst out on walks as I feel more in control.

I'm writing this on behalf of my mum Heather & her dog, Berkeley the German Shepherd xxWe just cannot thank Steve... enough.
We have a 6 month old German Shepherd who is reactive to people & dogs, yet was fine at puppy training etc.
It got to the point when taking him out for walks, I was apprehensive and dreading the daily 'ordeal', as he is so strong
When Steve came, he told us that I was transmitting these feelings down the lead to the pup, which is why he was so reactive. He took us out on a walk, and BANG, 4 reactive dogs appeared, as soon as we left our house. With Steve showing us the proper way to react, pup walked past with no reaction at all. I'm not ashamed to say, I cried. It was like a Eureka moment!! After 6 hours of Steve being here, I felt confident that I would be able to cope & be calm and not let the pup think he had to protect ME. I have taken him out since, shown him the calm assertiveness that was needed and even when he does react to people or dogs that are too close, I now have the confidence to walk by. I just feel so sad that pup was trying to protect me, as he sensed my fear, and that I was the problem, not him.
Father Christmas has given me the best present ever, thank you Steve, I can now enjoy my new pup and turn him into a well balanced boy. We just cannot praise Steve enough & would NOT hesitate to recommend him.
Money well spent, worth every penny and more. From Heather P

Steve spent over 6 hours with us and our 7 month old staffy x mastiff, Hector today going over all our training needs,... covering a wide variety of things.
Hector has been a generally well behaved dog but had shown some possessive tendencies which we wanted to address immediately to prevent escalation, and also wanted to "fine - tune" our training to make sure we were giving hector the correct direction in life.
Steve has given us the tools to address these issues and the confidence to move forward with the right training techniques.

We contacted Steve at Rehabilitation and training for help with our one year old French bulldog Rocco.
Rocco had been... quite dominant and was using aggression to get his own way. He was snapping at all members of the household (all adults), but was fine out on walks meeting other dogs and their owners. The behaviour was only towards members of the household, but not visitors to the house.
Steve came and carried out a thorough assessment of the families interaction with Rocco. We have not had a dog before so there was a lot to learn, even though Rocco had completed puppy training courses.
Steve spent time with all of the family and together we learned how to get things back on track.
Rocco used to bark at any cars or people walking across the front of our house, but he now responds when we acknowledge his alert following up with ‘quiet’.
Rocco now stays on his touch mat when asked, in order that a caller at the door can be seen without Rocco fighting to get there first!
Rocco also stays on his touch mat when it’s time to prepare dinner, where before he would jump up constantly.
Steve has encouraged us to use a small lead when allowing Rocco into the living room to assist with asking him to get ‘off’ the sofa, as he would storm into the room and protect his seat. Now Rocco successfully waits to be asked up onto the sofa and the ‘off’ command is no longer needed.
In addition to the tasks indoors, Steve has given advice and demonstrated getting Rocco to walk to heal. Rocco grasped this very quickly. This has been a huge success and all the family are now much more confident in taking Rocco out!
We can not thank or recommend Steve enough. We were aware that the problems were created in the main by us and not Rocco, but we have managed to turn things round. This of course is an ongoing process.
Just to add, Rocco has just spent a week at a doggy hotel while we were on holiday. He has been well behaved during this time. Rocco has also maintained what he has been taught and things are carrying on in the same vein - onwards and upwards.
Thank you Steve for your understanding and patience. Rocco should now be able to enjoy his home life and his family have a much better understanding of his needs.read more
Thoroughly recommend Steve, he is a really nice guy who is fantastic with dogs. He came to help us with our rescue... Harry and his territorial barking which was getting out of hand. Steve was able to teach us in three hours how to communicate to Harry some simple, positive but very effective ways to stop the barking. Obviously Harry is still allowed to bark, as dogs should, but we can now quieten him and calm him down when we need to which is good for us but also very good for Harry as he doesn’t need to be as stressed out. The session was worth every penny. A big thank you to Steve.read more

Our 14 month old Jack Russell, Maisie, had an excellent Initial Consultation with Steve. Steve is very personable but clearly also very knowledgeable and experienced with training dogs so the consultation was both enjoyable and helpful and we covered a lot in the one session. It is easy to forget details when covering numerous training techniques, so the follow-up detailed report will be a very helpful reference for us. Steve came to meet my 15 month old Westie yesterday. She had decided she wanted to be top female and look after me on... her terms. She was definitely well on her way to achieving her ambition and used every means to get there, even biting.
Steve spent all day with us and put up with my constant questioning about dog psychology. By the time our day was over Mabel was walking beautifully to heal, and obeying EVERY command with ease for Steve and ME!! I couldn't believe this well behaved dog was mine. I used a crate for her when she was a tiny puppy but she hated it. Steve said he could make her like it and I really thought he would fail but yet again, he made her love it and now she spends most of her sleeping time snuggled up in there with her cushions around her. As for the growling and biting I have been educated on how to cope with this. She did give me a couple of nasty warning growls last night and she was humainly punished. She hasn't done it since.
I highly recommend Steve no matter what the problem, he really knows his stuff and it shows how much he cares about dogs.

Steve took the time to explain everything in detail with us, the changes we need to make to understand our dogs and so the dogs understand us, take the dogs for a walk and show us many different tips for a fraction of the price I have spent elsewhere (we have litrally wasted thousands on other trainers wish we had found steve much sooner!) Alot of information was given to us in that amount of time (maybe too much to take in at once) so were looking forward to receiving our written report with guides in there to help us! don't get me wrong it's not a quick fix or miracle but most defo a step in the right direction and me and my partner have both said we both feel so much more positive now- especially knowing we can call Steve for advice or other sessions if we need too! managed to take the dogs out separately tonight for around 45 minutes with lead training and 'me time' for them too we saw other dogs and people with minimal stress/fuss (from us and them) including exploring our local area more which is a massive step for us! Steve visited us today to work with our Rough Collie, Sylvie, who was rescued from Romania 18 months ago. We have been... experiencing a variety of unusual issues which all come down to a lack of confidence. She has been refusing to leave the sofa unless asked, won't drink in front of us, sometimes won't eat, and is terrified when she is anywhere in the house, except "her" sofa. We have had 4 collies before and have never experienced anything like this, and after 16 months of working with her, and having advice from other trainers, we were at the point of giving up and, literally, letting sleeping dogs lie! Steve was recommended by a friend, and I have to say, was a breath of fresh air. He came with no preconceptions, and was not judgemental in any way. He had to totally reverse the advice he usually gives to people, and I felt that he worked not only with Sylvie, but also with me as an individual. He was with us for 6 hours, and took time to assess what he saw on the day, as well as taking into account my opinion. By half way through the appointment, Sylvie was happily lying in the kitchen, in her dog bed, a place where she had never before ventured without scuttling through the room in a panic, despite bribery with treats of cheese. We now have a plan firmly in place in order to make her comfortable in different rooms in the house, one at a time, and I'm pleased to say that she is sleeping next to me in the kitchen, despite all doors being open - she has chosen to be with me. Thank you Steve - from me and Sylvie. Xread more

Steve came recommended. I took my dog Ozzy on as a rescue and he had some behavioural issues when on the lead and... meeting other dogs. Steve has a reassuring and professional manner that you feel you can trust. He came on a walk to observe Ozzy and a dog came running up while we were out and Ozzy didn't react. It was that quick of a change. Steve explained that I need to also change my reaction to these situations to try to keep everything calm.
It's been over 3 weeks since our consultation and Ozzy is making great progress. This has made walking him so much less stressful and a lot more enjoyable. Thanks so much.read more
We recently got a Romanian street dog from a local rescue centre and as first time dog owners, we were struggling with... her for the first few days and were thinking of taking her back.
She was never aggressive but kept nipping, we couldn't eat food in peace as she'd jump at us, the walks consisted of us being dragged round the streets, having to have a wrestling match with her for me to leave the front door for work in the mornings and it got to stage where my partner had to sit on my lap in a single seat whilst the dog had the three seater sofa to herself cause she was such a pain if we tried sitting on it. Then we decided to call Steve and we're so glad we did.
He's obviously very knowledgeable and with teaching us and her clear instructions and showing us how we should be more dominant, it's made such a difference already. We know we still have a lot of work to do but after just three days she now sits, stays, pretty much won't go on the sofa unless invited and the walks are much better. We love her to bits and so glad we kept her. Thank you Steve!read more

You had patience with me when i kept getting it wrong.Ive put your training in place straight away last night with successful walk to heal around the roads stopping at every road crossing. Then went over woods this morning early, so they can assess there environment and again successfully avoided other confrontation from other dogs. Recall was brilliant and fun.Millie hasnt been on sofa since!Thankyou so much and highly recommended your services xxxread more
Steve came today to see our 16 week old and 7 year old miniature schnauzers both new to our household.
My god this guy... knows his business. He had a gentle but firm approach to both dogs, and us. We learnt SO much.
Thank you so much Steve, we now look forward to puppy training sessions.
Cannot recommend him enough, excellent value for money.

We have a 8 month old Staffordshire bull terrier who is very loving, but mischievous. We were finding him really hard... work but since Steve came and worked with us, he has changed so much for the better! I am beginning to be able to really enjoy my dog and walking him on a lead 🙂 Steve is so friendly and by the time he left, I felt confident that things were going to change for the better and we were going to have the dog we always wanted in Stanley! I 100% recommend Steve, he is really enthusiastic and you can really tell he loves what he does 🙂 My dog loved him straight away 🙂read more
